my next phone !

 This phone has definitely gotten me jazzed about my next phone! So it seems possible that it could be the pixel 4 XL or the Samsung Galaxy s10e. Why these phones? Out of all the amazing phones that are out there. Well they both are reaching the end of their life cycle, at some point they won't be selling them new anymore. And so they finally started that steep descent in the price department. The reason the Samsung is so compelling is it has a 3 and 1/2 mm Jack and an SD card. Plus it has the all-important flat screen. And then it seems like they both are somewhat similar in the rest of their respects. They both have awesome Snapdragon processors they both have plenty of onboard memory and they both have four to six gig of RAM. They both have big enough screens. They're both running Android. The only real negative to the Samsung is its tiny little 3000 milliamp hour battery. But even so at around 200 bucks it would be irresistible today. Unfortunately it's still selling for around $500. Another problem with the Samsung is many of them do not have CDMA frequencies. the Samsung is more desirable, because I used Samsung for several years and it was awesome. But the pixel is attractive, because they don't have to be out long and they start selling them cheap. So now put all that together and you can probably tell me all kinds of information about myself. Like what motivates me and why I am the way I am.

 a good motto is buy good products cheap and don't get too upset when they fall short. After all, they were cheap. 

This phone was cheap and it isn't perfect, but it works and it was cheap!

pixel 2 xl , 3xl, 4xl

 I currently own a pixel 2 XL. At this point it is a 5-year-old design. It still gets pretty good reviews on the internals even for being so old. Apparently some of the progress has kind of slowed down. Processor improvements and even camera improvements are minimal. It took excellent pictures 5 years ago and it still takes excellent pictures today. Having said that the pixel 3 and pixel 4 are starting to come down in price quite a bit. So let's talk about that. The pixel 3 has some improvements but nothing major. The big thing that everybody points out between the pixel 3 and the pixel 2 is the screen. The pixel 2 screen is somewhat faded looking compared to the typical phone. It's still very sharp the colors are still in color and it works just fine, but really it doesn't look like something that used to cost $950. Still that's what they sold it for. pixel 2 XL camera focus

  For almost a year the camera focus has been irritating at times. Especially when taking close up pictures. The camera would focus on stuff that was further away because it took up more of the field of view. Then finally this morning the thought occurred, why not click on what you want in focus and see what happens. And here are the results.   Notice June 13 is out of focus.   By clicking on 13 the focus automatically changes and then take the picture.   I'm hopeful that Jesus will figure out some way to get those Google guys into heaven.    Here is an example of a fantastic picture ruined by focus problems.    Armed with the new knowledge of resetting the focus more fantastic pictures can be produced.
