Occasionally somebody gets a renewed phone that basically looks brand new. It works for 2 or 3 years with no problems. This to me is a success. But what do most people get? They get a phone that doesn't look good, it certainly doesn't look new, and sometimes it doesn't even work right. The battery goes dead, there's visible scratches on the screen, and a multitude of other problems. For instance some people get it in a box with a bunch of stuff that doesn't even work with that phone. Like the charger doesn't work, or the earbuds don't work on that phone. It's kind of weird. Still, my perception is if you return the phone you will get your money back. Amazon seems to have put the fear of God in people that are selling this junk.
