sound advice

 For those of you starting off in life, when you do things that others don't liked they will try to stop you. At first this will sound unlikely, because there are 8 billion, 8,000,000,000, people on this planet and how will any of them even know you exist? Well, it has to do with your sphere of influence. If anyone sees you doing something they don't like, if they hear about you, or you are in the same or competing organizations, and in many other ways, they find out you exist. Especially in computers and software people are very territorial. For instance when Android came on Steve Jobs radar he said he would go thermonuclear. Instead he died of cancer.

Unfortunately this fact keeps me from sharing some really cool information with you. Probably there are millions of people with very cool "secret" information that would benefit mankind, but because of the evil people that would ruin all the fun, they keep things secret.

Do you see where I'm going with this?

pixel 2 xl , 3xl, 4xl

 I currently own a pixel 2 XL. At this point it is a 5-year-old design. It still gets pretty good reviews on the internals even for being so old. Apparently some of the progress has kind of slowed down. Processor improvements and even camera improvements are minimal. It took excellent pictures 5 years ago and it still takes excellent pictures today. Having said that the pixel 3 and pixel 4 are starting to come down in price quite a bit. So let's talk about that. The pixel 3 has some improvements but nothing major. The big thing that everybody points out between the pixel 3 and the pixel 2 is the screen. The pixel 2 screen is somewhat faded looking compared to the typical phone. It's still very sharp the colors are still in color and it works just fine, but really it doesn't look like something that used to cost $950. Still that's what they sold it for. pixel 2 XL camera focus

  For almost a year the camera focus has been irritating at times. Especially when taking close up pictures. The camera would focus on stuff that was further away because it took up more of the field of view. Then finally this morning the thought occurred, why not click on what you want in focus and see what happens. And here are the results.   Notice June 13 is out of focus.   By clicking on 13 the focus automatically changes and then take the picture.   I'm hopeful that Jesus will figure out some way to get those Google guys into heaven.    Here is an example of a fantastic picture ruined by focus problems.    Armed with the new knowledge of resetting the focus more fantastic pictures can be produced.
