above our pay grade

It appears that understanding the details of existence is above our pay grade. Simple questions that you would think would not require much of an answer are simply beyond us.

Fore instance:

  •  Why is there good and evil
  • Why is damnation eternal
  • Why is there temptation
  •  Why is life a deception
  • Why are we being tested
  • Why 3 instantiations of one God
  • Why heaven and Earth
  • Why demons
  • ...

It's a long list with no answers. In the Bible some people ask how long this will go on, but Job is one of the few people that asks why. He never gets an answer, and ends up apologizing to God. We never know why. Job and his 3 friends are terrified of God, and then things go back to normal.

God created everything, thought, force, energy. All concepts and realities, known and unknowable, all done by God. There is no other source.

Daniel is a good example of how strange it all is.

Daniel 8 [15] And it came to pass, when I, even I Daniel, had seen the vision, and sought for the meaning, then, behold, there stood before me as the appearance of a man.
[16] And I heard a man's voice between the banks of Ulai, which called, and said, Gabriel, make this man to understand the vision.
[17] So he came near where I stood: and when he came, I was afraid, and fell upon my face: but he said unto me, Understand, O son of man: for at the time of the end shall be the vision.
[18] Now as he was speaking with me, I was in a deep sleep on my face toward the ground: but he touched me, and set me upright.
[19] And he said, Behold, I will make thee know what shall be in the last end of the indignation: for at the time appointed the end shall be.

Daniel is beloved of God, and yet when he seeks understanding, he is afraid and overwhelmed. Also no one really understands the answers he got, not even Daniel.

spirits

It's becoming evident that the planet is saturated in spirits and, dare I say it, demons. They really are everywhere. If you get an uneasy feeling, you most likely are under attack. They are real, it's not some psychological anomaly or left over distant frustration from your childhood.

pixel 2 xl , 3xl, 4xl

I currently own a pixel 2 XL. At this point it is a 5-year-old design. It still gets pretty good reviews on the internals even for being so old. Apparently some of the progress has kind of slowed down. Processor improvements and even camera improvements are minimal. It took excellent pictures 5 years ago and it still takes excellent pictures today. Having said that the pixel 3 and pixel 4 are starting to come down in price quite a bit. So let's talk about that. The pixel 3 has some improvements but nothing major. The big thing that everybody points out between the pixel 3 and the pixel 2 is the screen. The pixel 2 screen is somewhat faded looking compared to the typical phone. It's still very sharp the colors are still in color and it works just fine, but really it doesn't look like something that used to cost $950. Still that's what they sold it for. So that alone really doesn't make it worth upgrading to pixel 3. The pixel 3 screen is slightly bigger but the pro...

pixel 2 XL camera focus

For almost a year the camera focus has been irritating at times. Especially when taking close up pictures. The camera would focus on stuff that was further away because it took up more of the field of view. Then finally this morning the thought occurred, why not click on what you want in focus and see what happens. And here are the results.   Notice June 13 is out of focus.   By clicking on 13 the focus automatically changes and then take the picture.   I'm hopeful that Jesus will figure out some way to get those Google guys into heaven.    Here is an example of a fantastic picture ruined by focus problems.    Armed with the new knowledge of resetting the focus more fantastic pictures can be produced.
